The Weightlifting Exercises file should accompany every workout and is provided to explain how to safely & effectively do each exercise, and to define the verbage involved in the workout process. It is available as a .pdf (to the right) and viewable online.

The remission training programs are designed for those who are currently in remission from their disease, off of all treatments and medications, and have full clearance from their physicians to resume an active lifestyle. The workouts are designed to bring you from a relatively low level of conditioning through an intermediate stage and finally to a high level of conditioning enabling you to enjoy the highest levels of fitness and activity.
For those who've attained a high level of fitness and want to focus more
specifically on either cardiovascular (CV) conditioning or strength &
appearance two sample training programs have been provided. The three week
hypertrophy program focuses on strength & appearance goals with
cardiovascular workouts added for increased caloric expenditure and improved
body composition. The advanced CV training program focuses on endurance
performance and eliminates weight workouts seen in both the beginning and
intermediate level programs. The focus of the advanced CV training program
is to maximize cardiovascular, aerobic conditioning and improve your
functional capacity. At any time you desire to incorporate weight workouts,
change your focus, or modify your goals you can revert back to the
intermediate level program which incorporates both aerobic and resistance
training workouts. |
